Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop and maintain software configuration management tools, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance with software product standards
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices while providing technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience in scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
