Senior Configuration Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and architecture for enterprise software release management, the remote Senior Configuration Engineer will focus on automating delivery processes across cloud-native and enterprise environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance release orchestration and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable release orchestration workflows and CI/CD platforms, ensuring quality gates and automated validation
• Lead enterprise software packaging and artifact lifecycle management, including SBOM generation and dependency validation
• Establish release governance frameworks with defined KPIs to drive operational stability and incident reduction

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE
• Demonstrated experience in leading architecture for release and artifact management platforms at an enterprise scale
• 3+ years managing Azure and Azure DevOps environments
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Bash for infrastructure automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
