Senior Configuration Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Configuration Manager to provide Configuration Management support for FEMA systems remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare configuration documentation and maintain the Software Configuration Management (SCM) database and build plans
• Develop scripts and automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of software build, integration, release, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with development and test teams for code deployments into respective environments

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (preferably in engineering or related discipline) and 5+ years of experience in configuration management
• Proven ability to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable configuration management
• Experience with source code management tools and in a software development environment
• Experience with Release Management and Git
• Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing, and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components
