Job Summary

Leading a team of claims handlers, the full-time Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead will adjudicate complex construction defect claims while providing training and oversight, all in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small team of claims adjusters, ensuring performance objectives are met
• Adjudicate highly complex claims and report on claims trends to senior management
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes

Required qualifications

• Minimum of seven years' experience in adjudicating construction defect claims of $100,000 or more
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
• Preferred experience in a Claims Supervisory role managing adjusters
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions, with the ability to obtain additional licenses within three months of hire
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in claims management
