Senior Construction Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Adjudicating complex construction defect claims, the full-time Senior Construction Claims Specialist will work remotely to manage high-stakes cases, analyze claims data, and report on trends to senior management.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed investigations and analyses of construction defect claims, ensuring prompt and thorough resolution
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to senior management and underwriters regarding claims trends and developments
• Negotiate complex settlement packages and manage claims in litigation to achieve optimal financial outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims involving exposures of $100,000 or more
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions or ability to obtain necessary licenses within three months of hire
• Strong understanding of claims reserving techniques and their impact on the claims process
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
