Senior Construction Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of new telecommunications networks, the full-time remote Senior Construction Engineer will manage vendor engagement, supervise project execution, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion of multiple infrastructure deployment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and review comprehensive plans for large, complex telecommunications projects, including resource requirements, project costs, and risk assessments
• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of projects, establishing clear accountabilities for vendors and internal stakeholders
• Drive timely project completion by prioritizing workloads and managing vendor performance against aggressive timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant job experience in telecommunications or civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering standards and construction practices
• Experience managing the full life cycle of OSP and/or civil projects, including estimating, engineering, and permitting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and various mapping programs
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
