Senior Construction Loan Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Construction Modification Specialist will underwrite mortgage loan applications, track construction loans nearing completion, and ensure compliance with state-specific requirements while providing exceptional service to clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage construction loans, ensuring timely modifications and compliance with appraisal expiration dates
• Coordinate with various departments to clear underwriting conditions and facilitate final disbursements
• Prepare modification agreements and communicate effectively with borrowers regarding the modification process

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate and lending, with 2-3 years specifically in construction lending
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with complex Excel formulas
• Experience in processing and loan administration preferred
• Strong judgment and character, with a motivated and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively with associates, clients, and vendors
