Senior Construction Manager

Job Summary

To successfully deliver assigned engineering and construction projects, the full-time Senior Construction Manager will manage project planning, contractor selection, and budgeting while working remotely and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the delivery of construction projects within the Program Director's portfolio, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Conducts project planning and secures necessary entitlements, permits, and approvals while representing the owner at public hearings
• Administers design contracts and manages project budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Architectural Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 11 years of experience in Construction Management or related fields, including managing due diligence and permitting for multiple projects
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams
• Technical expertise in site and building design with the ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Experience in big box retail construction and familiarity with regulatory and code requirements
