Senior Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as a senior client-facing advisor, the full-time remote Senior Consultant will lead complex healthcare operations and transformation workstreams for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, coordinating cross-functional teams and developing high-quality products to improve Veterans' access to community care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex workstreams across Community Care operations, including referral and authorization, care coordination, and clinical integration
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, ensuring timely status reporting and escalation of issues
• Produce executive briefings, governance materials, and contract deliverables while facilitating stakeholder engagement and collaboration

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting, program/project management, or healthcare operations experience in a federal or highly regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations in areas such as referrals, care coordination, and provider network management
• Proven ability to develop and manage work plans, risks, and contract deliverables
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and communication
