Senior Consultant - Audit Remediation

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Defense, the full-time Senior Consultant - Audit Remediation will manage financial audit statements and readiness services, focusing on audit remediation strategies and governance communication while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial audit statements and readiness services to the Department of Defense
• Support audit remediation and sustainment strategy, including oversight and reporting
• Assist in governance meeting content development and recurring financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Five (5) or more years of experience in government financial management, including audits and remediation
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial management policies
• Familiarity with financial areas such as General Equipment, Inventory, or Real Property
