Senior Consultant Economist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Consultant Economist specializing in Demand Response and Efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on economic and statistical analysis related to demand side management initiatives
• Lead research and data analysis tasks to support consulting engagements on various energy-related topics
• Manage consulting projects, including budget tracking, project planning, and staff management

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields with 10-12 years of experience, or MA/MS with 8-10 years, or PhD with 5-7 years of experience
• Professional experience with statistical software such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata
• Familiarity with the electricity sector or utility industry
• Experience with inferential statistics, including sampling and regression analysis
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments
