Senior Consultant - Emergency Management

Job Summary

To support the Federal Emergency Management Agency's training and education sector, the full-time Senior Consultant - Emergency Management will evaluate and improve complex procedures and systems, provide project direction, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, all while working remotely within driving distance of Washington DC.

Key responsibilities

• Perform evaluations of existing procedures and assist in designing new systems
• Prepare and present detailed analyses, reports, and presentations to clients and team members
• Provide project direction and supervise staff to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or professional field
• A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience as an expert in the field
• Demonstrated proficiency with automated word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing systems
