Senior Consultant, Food Safety

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote Senior Consultant, Food Safety will provide hands-on consulting services to food industry clients, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with SQF, BRCGS, and FSSC 22000 standards while managing client relationships and promoting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consulting services to ensure compliance with food safety standards and facilitate the implementation of FSQA program strategies
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, conducting program check-ins and managing documentation and deliverables
• Identify business development opportunities and promote additional Intertek products and consulting services to enhance client value

Required qualifications

• Experience in food safety consulting and knowledge of SQF, BRCGS, and FSSC 22000 standards
• Ability to conduct training on Preventive Controls for Human Food and HACCP
• Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proven track record in consultative selling and business development
• Relevant certifications in food safety and quality assurance practices
