Senior Consultant - GHG Accounting

Job Summary

To support the GHG Accounting service in North America, the full-time Senior Consultant - GHG Accounting will manage advisory projects, calculate GHG emissions, and assist in business development efforts while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of GHG inventory services, including calculating Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and conducting compliance advisory for GHG emissions reporting
• Manage client data and run complex GHG calculations using proprietary tools, while acting as a project manager for small projects
• Draft reports and presentations to inform strategic decision-making and develop trusted advisor relationships with clients

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or related field; master's degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate GHG emissions accounting, preferably in a consultancy environment
• Proficiency in calculating and reporting Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, with knowledge of the GHG Protocol
• Understanding of Life Cycle Assessments and familiarity with carbon accounting standards
• Demonstrated project management skills and experience with third-party audits of GHG inventories
