Senior Consultant in Unclaimed Property

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Consultant in Unclaimed Property will partner with senior leaders to manage compliance assessments, analyze financial records, and develop strategies to reduce liability for clients navigating unclaimed property regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage state unclaimed property risk assessments, Voluntary Disclosure Agreements, and audits
• Analyze client records to identify noncompliance risks and document findings clearly
• Prepare and submit due diligence letters and state compliance reports, ensuring accuracy through quality control

Required qualifications

• Experience in conducting compliance assessments and managing client engagements in unclaimed property or related domains
• Background in accounting, finance, or a related field through degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple client engagements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, along with comfort in using AI-assisted workflows
• Ability to interpret state unclaimed property requirements and provide actionable guidance to clients
