Job Summary

To support a growing content department, the contract-to-hire Senior Content Editor will review content strategies, ensure editorial alignment with marketing goals, and establish editing standards while working remotely and transitioning to a full-time role based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and pressure-test content briefs and strategies before writing begins
• Edit content for strategic alignment and ensure it meets search intent and marketing goals
• Develop and implement editing standards and quality control processes for the editorial team

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience editing strategic marketing content in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in evaluating SEO strategies, including keyword selection and content architecture
• Ability to work independently and make editorial decisions without direct oversight
• Strong collaborative skills with a focus on building trust and providing constructive feedback
