Senior Contested Case Manager

Job Summary

Managing all aspects of contested mortgage foreclosure cases, the full-time Senior Contested Case Manager will work remotely to develop litigation strategies, oversee discovery processes, and ensure effective communication with outside counsel and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned contested foreclosure cases with a focus on proactive monitoring and risk identification
• Collaborate with outside counsel to implement litigation strategies and prepare case summaries
• Oversee the discovery process and maintain the litigation database, providing updates to management and investors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an Associate's degree with paralegal certification and ten years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations related to residential mortgage servicing
• Experience in the legal department of a mortgage servicer
• Proficiency in legal case management databases and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
