Senior Contingency Underwriter

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Contingency Underwriter, the full-time remote role will manage complex and high-value underwriting assignments, develop strategies for accounts, and build relationships with brokers and clients to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a renewal book while producing new business in line with unit goals
• Build and enhance relationships with brokers and clients, establishing new distribution channels
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and maintain accurate records and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in underwriting or contingency insurance broking focused on complex risks
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong technical expertise in risk analysis and evaluation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with carrier rating systems or broker portals is a plus
