Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Contract SME II to provide support for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and Task/Delivery Orders
• Conduct market research and analyze relevant policies to assist the Contracting Officer in decision-making
• Draft and review contractual documents and evaluate pricing data for price reasonableness recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Federal contracting experience, with at least 10 years in construction or specialized services
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Certification: Legacy Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) II, III, or DAWIA, or FAC-C (Professional)
• At least two years of experience procuring supplies and services using FAR 15 Procedures (highly preferred)
• Experience with formal source selection and price analysis techniques (highly preferred)
