Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Contract SME II to provide support for procurement processes related to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Write requirements into clear and comprehensive SOWs, PWSs, and/or Task/Delivery Orders
• Perform market research and analyze pricing data to support procurement decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize equipment and service requirements for strategic acquisitions

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Federal contracting experience, with 10 years in construction or specialized services
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Certification: Legacy Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) II, III, or DAWIA, or FAC-C (Professional)
• At least two years of experience procuring supplies/services using FAR 15 Procedures (highly preferred)
• Experience with formal source selection and price analysis techniques (highly preferred)
