Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Contract SME II to provide support for the procurement of goods and services for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear and comprehensive SOWs, PWSs, and/or Task/Delivery Orders
• Conduct market research and analyze relevant policies and regulations to support decision-making
• Draft and prepare contractual documents and review procurement documents for accuracy and completeness

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Federal contracting experience, with 10 years in construction or specialized service fields
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Must hold a Legacy Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) II, III, or DAWIA, or FAC-C (Professional)
• At least two years of experience procuring supplies/services using FAR 15 Procedures (highly preferred)
• Experience with formal source selection and price analysis techniques (highly preferred)
