Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Office of Acquisition Services at the CDC, the full-time Senior Contract Specialist will lead a team in delivering full-lifecycle contract performance, providing pre-award, solicitation, evaluation, and post-award support in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of contract specialists in managing full-lifecycle contract performance
• Assist program offices in developing acquisition strategies and conducting market research for pre-award activities
• Facilitate communication and evaluations during the solicitation and post-award processes, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least seven (7) years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting
• Previous ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert) experience is preferred
• Current or previous FAC-C Certification or civilian equivalent is required
