Senior Contract Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Contract SME II to provide procurement support for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and Task/Delivery Orders
• Conduct market research and analyze relevant policies and regulations to support decision-making
• Draft and prepare contractual documents while ensuring accuracy and completeness of procurement documents

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Federal contracting experience, with 10 years in construction or specialized service fields
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Certification: Legacy Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) II, III, or FAC-C (Professional)
• Experience procuring commercial or non-commercial supplies and/or services using FAR 15 Procedures (highly preferred)
• Experience with formal source selection and price analysis techniques (highly preferred)
