Senior Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Controller in the Vacation Rental Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial reporting for a portfolio of Short Term Rental clients, ensuring US GAAP compliance
• Lead and mentor a remote team, driving the month-end close process and overseeing trust accounting
• Act as a strategic financial advisor for clients, managing audits and implementing internal controls

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Senior Leadership role
• Deep experience in Short Term Rentals, Property Management, or Hospitality
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct, and familiarity with PMS tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
