Senior Controls Engineer
Job Summary
To lead the design, programming, commissioning, and optimization of advanced water treatment systems, the full-time remote Senior Controls Engineer will serve as a technical expert, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and drive customer success through site audits and operator training.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of industrial control systems for water treatment applications
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for automation and instrumentation systems
- Conduct site audits and prepare technical reports with recommendations for system improvements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in industrial process control, automation, or instrumentation engineering
- Proven experience in developing, programming, and troubleshooting industrial control systems
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, ISA standards, and electrical schematics
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms
