Owning the words that engage and convert users, the full-time Senior Conversion Copywriter will craft compelling copy for onboarding, upsells, special offers, and lifecycle marketing, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Write onboarding messages that welcome new players and enhance their initial experience
• Develop persuasive copy for upsell flows, paywalls, and promotional campaigns that resonate with members
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful ad copy and messaging that drives user acquisition and engagement

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience writing conversion-focused copy for consumer products or subscription services
• A strong portfolio showcasing onboarding flows, upsell screens, and lifecycle marketing campaigns
• Proven ability to write engaging copy that aligns with brand voice and tone
• Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and analyzing copy performance
• Genuine interest in chess or willingness to learn about the game and its community
