Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Copy Editor will review and edit diverse written content, ensuring it aligns with brand standards and marketing initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain content accuracy and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews, edits, and approves high-quality written content across multiple channels, ensuring on-brand messaging and adherence to content briefs
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to fact-check health-related content and translates complex information into accessible language for consumer audiences
• Incorporates SEO best practices into written content and maintains compliance with healthcare marketing regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional writing or editing experience in marketing, content marketing, or publishing
• Portfolio demonstrating versatility across multiple content types, including web, email, and social media
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to write optimized content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management and project management tools
