Job Summary
Leading the design and optimization of the Core Banking application environment, the full-time Senior Core Banking Architect will ensure system stability, security, and scalability while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and resolve critical production issues.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and optimize the Core Banking application environment for secure and scalable operations
- Lead integration efforts between Core Banking applications and third-party systems to maintain data integrity and performance
- Monitor application performance and resolve complex production issues to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in supporting and architecting Core Banking applications within the financial services industry
- Advanced proficiency with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and batch-processing environments
- Strong understanding of Core Banking operations and transaction processing
- Demonstrated leadership in application upgrades, software releases, and platform modernization initiatives
