Senior Corporate Accountant

Job Summary

Senior Corporate Accountant, a remote contract position for 6 months with potential for extension, responsible for supporting month-end close processes, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and prepare management reports
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including corporate or GL accounting roles
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills, including working with large data sets and basic modeling
• Effective communication skills with the ability to summarize findings clearly
