Senior Corporate Accountant
Job Summary
Leading global financial close activities, the hybrid Senior Corporate Accountant will manage monthly and quarterly close cycles, standardize accounting practices, and support external reporting compliance while collaborating with global business units.
Key responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accurate reconciliations and compliance with SOX and SEC requirements
- Conduct monthly pre-distribution checks and resolve discrepancies in consolidated financial statements
- Establish uniform accounting processes for debt and intangibles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and SEC disclosure workpapers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of public corporate accounting or relevant financial experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or advanced degree is a plus
- Deep experience with complex monthly and quarterly financial close processes
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement mechanics
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities and ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)
