Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel, Commercial Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft technology transactions, including subscription and professional services agreements
• Provide strategic legal advice to internal teams and support sales in closing deals
• Enhance contract processes and develop training for sales and legal teams

Required Qualifications

• J.D. Degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one state bar
• 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department
• CIPP/E Certification and understanding of global data privacy laws
• Experience negotiating contracts in the public sector, particularly with government and educational entities
• Ability to influence and advocate for business interests effectively
