Senior Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
To support the Product and Engineering teams, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel will provide legal guidance on product development, compliance, and intellectual property, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while fostering innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify legal and regulatory considerations during product development
- Create and manage legal review processes for software products and AI features, addressing compliance throughout the product lifecycle
- Advise on intellectual property strategy and assist in protecting innovations through patents and other rights
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership, with 8+ years of legal experience, including 5 years in-house
- Deep expertise in software licensing, security, or privacy/data protection
- Familiarity with export control and trade compliance relevant to global software products
- Experience advising on intellectual property strategy, including patents and licensing
- Proven ability to translate complex legal matters into practical guidance for stakeholders
