Job Summary
Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will manage obligations arising under applicable rules of professional conduct, provide guidance on conflicts of interest, and support the firm's ethics program operations.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, handling sensitive issues end-to-end
- Conduct conflicts analysis and oversee clearance processes for complex matters, including drafting conflict waiver letters
- Identify ethics-related risks and trends, recommending updates to policies and procedures while providing cross-coverage for the ethics and conflicts functions
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience with a focus on attorney ethics, professional responsibility, and conflicts of interest
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex conflicts and provide practical guidance on resolution strategies
- Experience advising law firm leadership on sensitive issues requiring professional judgment and discretion
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple time-sensitive matters effectively
