Job Summary
To provide expert guidance on attorney ethics and conflicts of interest, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will serve as a senior advisor, managing complex ethical issues and conflicts analysis across jurisdictions where the firm operates.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on and handle sensitive professional responsibility matters, including competence, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest
- Conduct conflicts analysis for complex matters and draft related communications, ensuring compliance with ethical standards
- Monitor ethics-related risks and trends, collaborating with senior leadership on complex issues requiring escalation
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience with a focus on attorney ethics and conflicts of interest in a large law firm environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex conflicts and provide practical guidance on resolution strategies
- Experience advising law firm leadership on sensitive issues requiring professional judgment and discretion
- Familiarity with lateral hire processes and the relevant professional responsibility rules
