Job Summary
Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will manage complex conflicts of interest, provide guidance on ethical obligations, and support the firm's ethics program across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on attorney ethics and professional responsibility, handling sensitive matters end-to-end
- Conduct conflicts analysis for new business intake and lateral hiring, advising on resolution strategies
- Identify ethics-related risks and trends, recommending updates to firm policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience with a focus on attorney ethics and conflicts of interest
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex conflicts and provide practical guidance
- Experience advising law firm leadership on sensitive issues requiring professional judgment
- Familiarity with lateral hire and global conflicts processes, as well as professional responsibility rules
