Job Summary
Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will manage complex issues related to ethics compliance, conflicts of interest, and provide guidance across multiple jurisdictions where attorneys are licensed to practice.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on and handle sensitive professional responsibility matters, including ethics compliance and conflicts of interest
- Conduct conflicts analysis for new business intake and oversee resolution strategies for complex matters
- Develop and deliver training on ethics and conflicts-related policies and procedures for legal staff
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience in ethics, professional responsibility, or conflicts of interest within a large law firm
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide guidance on complex conflicts and ethics issues
- Experience advising law firm leadership on sensitive matters requiring professional judgment
- Familiarity with lateral hire processes and the rules of professional conduct across multiple jurisdictions
