Job Summary
Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will provide guidance on ethical obligations across jurisdictions, manage conflicts of interest, and support the firm's ethics program operations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, including handling sensitive issues and coordinating with senior leadership
- Conduct conflicts analysis for new business intake and lateral hiring, advising on resolution strategies and drafting necessary communications
- Identify ethics-related risks and trends, recommend policy updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ethics and conflicts matters
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience in attorney ethics, professional responsibility, or conflicts of interest within a large law firm environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex conflicts fact patterns and provide practical guidance
- Experience advising on sensitive issues requiring professional judgment and discretion
- Familiarity with lateral hire and global conflicts processes, as well as emerging technologies in legal practice
