Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of strategic commercial agreements, focusing on enterprise-level outbound agreements and supporting documents
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the commercial contract review and approval process
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals while developing contract templates and negotiation playbooks

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS and Juris Doctor (JD) required; licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state
• 10+ years of experience in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both, with a focus on complex outbound commercial agreements
• Demonstrated knowledge of IP, data protection, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability to assess material risks and find workable solutions
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build productive relationships across a global organization
