Senior Corporate Counsel, NY Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing commercial launch, the Senior Corporate Counsel, NY Licensed will provide strategic legal guidance and day-to-day support for advertising, promotional, and market access activities in a remote or hybrid capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead legal counsel for product launch on all promotional matters, ensuring compliance with FDA and FTC standards
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and market access contracts
• Deliver targeted training and guidance to brand teams and commercial stakeholders on legal and compliance issues

Required qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3-5+ years of legal experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in-house
• Significant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and market access-related agreements
• Strong understanding of legal and compliance considerations for emerging commercial-stage life sciences companies
• Proficiency in contract management software and excellent stakeholder management skills
