Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy, the ideal candidate will manage complex commercial agreements, focusing on privacy and data protection while driving strategic partnerships and collaborating across teams to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Independently draft and negotiate enterprise-level commercial contracts with a focus on privacy and data protection
• Identify and resolve privacy issues within complex agreements, translating regulatory obligations into actionable contract terms
• Negotiate innovative AI licensing agreements, structuring deals that govern data flow into LLMs and RAG frameworks

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and state bar membership in good standing
• 8+ years of experience as an attorney, preferably with in-house counsel experience in technology transactions
• Deep expertise in privacy and data protection laws, including US State privacy law regimes and compliance frameworks
• Extensive knowledge of SaaS contract law and IP law
• Proven negotiation skills with a track record of actively negotiating complex agreements
