Job Summary
To support its global privacy program, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel - Privacy (EU) will provide legal advice on European privacy and data protection matters, focusing on compliance with GDPR and other regulations while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on European privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR and ePrivacy
- Act as a primary point of contact for European privacy issues, guiding business teams on compliance and risk mitigation
- Advise on privacy-by-design considerations for products and services, and support Data Protection Impact Assessments
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of legal experience with significant expertise in privacy and data protection law
- In-house experience at a global technology company
- Deep knowledge of GDPR and European privacy frameworks
- Juris Doctor degree (or equivalent) and license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
- Experience advising on cross-border data transfers and international data governance
