Job Summary
To support transformative growth in the U.S. Public Sector, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel, U.S. will serve as the primary legal negotiator for contracts with U.S. federal and state government customers, focusing on complex negotiations and compliance in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, redline, and negotiate a high volume of complex contracts, including prime contracts and subcontracts, within government frameworks
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related procurement requirements while providing regulatory counsel
- Analyze legal, financial, and operational risks in proposal documents and provide strategic advice to internal teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. federal government and U.S. SLED contracting concepts
- Strong knowledge of public sector agreements and experience with RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active qualification to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Proven ability to resolve complex contract and compliance issues in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent organizational and upper-level stakeholder negotiation skills
