Senior Cost Accountant

Job Summary

To support cost management and financial analysis in the automotive manufacturing industry, the full-time temporary Senior Cost Accountant will manage routine cost accounting activities, support month-end closing processes, and lead automation initiatives remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage routine cost accounting activities, including inventory-related processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Support the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead efforts to improve team-wide efficiency through process redesign and automation initiatives

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in process improvement and automation, with skills in PowerBI, Macros, or Python
• Knowledge of cost and management accounting principles and SAP systems
• Ability to elicit requirements through interviews and implement solutions hands-on
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or related industries is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across teams effectively
