Senior Cost Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst to support the Cost Manager and oversee the costing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train cost staff members in understanding the cost model
• Perform ongoing maintenance of the decision support tool and ensure data accuracy through audits and reconciliations
• Develop reports to support analysis for hospital operations and maintain communication with assigned client hospitals

Required Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Preferred graduate degree (MBA, MHA, MS in Decision Science, or related to healthcare)
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CMA, CHFP
• Advanced Excel skills and strong understanding of relational database structure
