Senior Cost Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst to lead cost strategy and improve profitability in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and standard costs, ensuring accuracy across product lines
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, providing insights and recommendations
• Develop and maintain cost models and financial controls to support inventory management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory control within manufacturing
• Strong background in cost accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Dynamics AX/365
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
