Senior Cost Control Analyst

Job Summary

Leading project cost management activities, the full-time Senior Cost Control Analyst will provide financial oversight, budgeting, and forecasting for large-scale construction projects while collaborating with various teams to ensure projects remain within budget and identify financial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project budgets from award through closeout, tracking actual costs against commitments
• Perform detailed cost variance analysis and prepare executive cost reports, including forecasts for labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
• Support pricing negotiations and review change orders for financial impact, ensuring all approved changes are incorporated into project budgets

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of construction cost control experience
• Experience on projects exceeding $50M preferred
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, project controls, and scheduling
• Proficiency in procurement and contract administration
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
