Senior Cost Control Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing large-scale construction and infrastructure project budgets, the full-time salaried Senior Cost Control Manager will ensure financial discipline and effective cost control while collaborating with project teams, vendors, and finance to maintain accurate cost forecasts and track project expenditures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the onsite cost team, ensuring adherence to cost control processes and collaboration across project management teams
• Manage the creation and validation of project budgets, monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate and approve change orders, ensuring accurate assessment and communication of cost implications to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, finance, or accounting; or relevant professional experience
• Ten or more years of experience in cost control, construction, or project management, with prior leadership experience
• Deep expertise in construction contract documents and budget control processes
• Advanced proficiency in financial and project management software (e.g., Workday, Procore)
• Proven ability to provide detailed financial forecasts and manage budgets through all project stages
