Senior Cost Estimating Analyst

Job Summary

Transforming complex technical and financial inputs into clear models, the full-time Senior Cost Estimating Analyst will collaborate with engineering and program teams to build and validate cost estimates, ensuring realistic assumptions and cashflow forecasts in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, validate, and document cost models aligned to WBS structures and proposal requirements
• Challenge assumptions and ensure timing, scope, and cashflow estimates are realistic
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate data and participate in estimate reviews

Required qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience in cost estimating, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably with government or complex RFP experience
• Advanced Excel skills for building, auditing, and troubleshooting models
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong communication skills to explain assumptions and methodology
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems or working with international RFPs is a bonus
