Senior Cost Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cost Estimator.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects of varying complexity
• Ensure the validity of project coding structures and design Work Breakdown Structures
• Perform trend analysis and prepare detailed reports for management regarding cost and schedule control

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience; or equivalent qualifications
• Strong proficiency in automated accounting, budgeting, and cost management systems
• Knowledge of project management and cost control at a tactical level
• Ability to apply estimating techniques and recognize design omissions
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance
