Senior Cost Estimator

Job Summary

To support a large multinational industrial and office client, the remote Senior Cost Estimator will develop and maintain cost management processes, provide cost estimates throughout project life cycles, and collaborate closely with project managers to ensure budget adherence and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective cost management procedures for construction projects
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels and evaluate cost control measures during project execution
• Support project managers in value engineering and negotiations with general contractors for cost optimizations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management for industrial construction projects
• Special knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and relevant influencing factors
• International experience working on industrial construction projects
• Proficiency in cost estimation tools such as RIB iTwo or CostX
